Weather was certainly interesting this year, we had some strong winds that forced all paddlers to dig deep. Thankfully, there was a little bit of downwind on the homestretch.
Jason Bennett defended his 2015 title with another win this year finishing in a time of 1:39:06.
Shannon Bell was the fastest female paddler this year completing the 14km course in a time of 1:51:58
Paul Torriero and Sally Wallick were the fastest around the short course.
